Central California Neurology (CCN) specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases involving impairment of the brain, spinal cord and the muscles and nerves of the legs and arms. Our physicians test for impaired function of reflexes, sensation, muscle strength, balance, movement in the arms and legs, vision, memory, speech, language, cognitive abilities and other aspects of the nervous system.
CCN evaluates, manages and recommends treatments for headaches, dizziness and vertigo, seizures, concussions, contusions, neuralgia, neuritis, neuropathy, radiculopathy, carpel tunnel, tremors, cervical and lumbar disc problems, spinal and muscle disorders, epilepsy, Bell’s Palsy, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and other nervous system diseases. Dr. Dramov graduated from the USC School of Medicine in 1964. Borina has a number of honors to her credit. While at the USC/LA County General Hospital, she completed fellowships in neurology/neurosurgery and psychiatry, cardiology/cardiac surgery, and physiology research. She completed residences in neurology and pediatrics at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco and a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology and psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Helman graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA in Biology in 1980. He studied medicine at the Pritzker School of Medicine, University of Chicago, graduating in 1984. He served as the Chief Resident in Neurology at the University of Minnesota Teaching Hospitals in Minneapolis, completed an internship in neurosurgery/neurology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and received additional neurological training at the St Paul Ramsey Medical Center.
