Dr. Dale Helman and Dr. Borina Dramov have over forty years of combined experience in the practice of neurology. Dale Helman, M.D.
Dr. Helman graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA in Biology in 1980. He studied medicine at the Pritzker School of Medicine, University of Chicago, graduating in 1984. He served as the Chief Resident in Neurology at the University of Minnesota Teaching Hospitals in Minneapolis, completed an internship in neurosurgery/neurology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and received additional neurological training at the St Paul Ramsey Medical Center. Board certified in neurology, Dr. Helman has been in private practice in California for over 18 years. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Neurology, a member of the American Medical Association, the California Medical Association, and the Monterey County Medical Society. Dr. Helman has performed over 15,000 Electromyography (EMG) tests and Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) studies.

Central California Neurology accepts most major insurances, including: Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, HealthNet, Medicare, Medi-Cal and is a member of various other provider networks. Dr. Helman is fully bilingual in Spanish and English.

Borina Dramov, M.D.
Dr. Dramov graduated from the USC School of Medicine in 1964. Borina has a number of honors to her credit. While at the USC/LA County General Hospital, she completed fellowships in neurology/neurosurgery and psychiatry, cardiology/cardiac surgery, and physiology research. She completed residences in neurology and pediatrics at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco and a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology and psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco. She has taught clinical neurology to interns and residents and has published articles in neurology journals. Dr. Dramov has been in private practice in California since 1973, specializing in orthopedic neurology and treating traumatic work injuries. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Western Federation of Neurology and is an Associate of the San Francisco Neurological Society. Dr. Dramov is fully bilingual in Spanish and English and is known for outstanding care of patients.
